Management Team
Michael is the managing partner of NFP Structured Settlements. Michael has been active in the structure industry since 1991 and has been the leading consultant in the country having produced over $2.5 Billion in structured settlement annuities in that time. Michael also specializes in trusts. He is a founder and part owner of a national trust company with over $2 Billion in assets under management. Not only that, has been involved in more mass torts and international cases than any other settlement consultant in the country.
Michael works with attorneys and their clients throughout the United States and internationally. He expertly presents settlement options, including structured settlements, trusts, and other products, to ensure that clients can efficiently resolve cases and create long-term security for plaintiffs.
Michael was in Nairobi and Dar Salaam, Africa in the first case of its kind assisting victims of terrorism and their families. He was selected by a group of international lawyers to work with the victims and then confirmed by the State Department and Department of Justice.
He is the Past President of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association where he served two terms in 2015 and 2021. He led the way in changing and strengthening the Structured Settlement Protection Act’s (SSPA) laws in five states, providing more protection for structured settlement recipients.
Michael received a Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of Florida College of Law and has been admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar. He graduated Cum Laude from Williams College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Upon graduation from Williams, Michael was inducted into the Massachusetts College Football Hall of Fame.
Michael is married to his law school sweetheart, Amy. Together they have two children, Matthew and Katherine. Michael serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors at St. Andrews School in Boca Raton, Florida.
Bill is president/CEO and co-founder of NFP Structured Settlements. He has over 33 years of structured settlement and trust experience. Bill began his career in 1991 in the periodic payment department of a major life insurance company and has grown his business to become one of the top producers in the industry. Since those early years, he has helped over 30,000 injured people throughout the country with structured settlements and settlement planning. Bill also is a founder and part owner of a national trust company with over $2 Billion in assets under management.
Bill works closely with plaintiff attorneys and their clients. He takes the time to understand the injured parties' needs and he thoughtfully presents settlement options, including structured settlements, trusts, and other products, to ensure that injured people can maximize their settlement proceeds and create long-term security. He has extensive knowledge about complex financing, trusts, and the integration of public benefits that are often critical in reaching a settlement
In addition to running two successful companies, he has worked on behalf of the structured settlement industry by lobbying to protect the rights of all parties in the structured settlement process. He is an active member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association (NSSTA) and is a frequent speaker for numerous trial lawyer associations including the Inner Circle of Advocates.
In 1994, Bill received the Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation through the National Structured Settlement Trade Association (NSSTA) and the University of Notre Dame. He was the youngest student to receive the CSSC at that time. He graduated from Hamilton College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in government and economics and graduated with honors from Champlain College, earning a Masters of Science in Law.
Bill lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is married to his wife Erica for 32 years. Together they have three adult children. Bill is the immediate past chair of the Greater Pittsburgh JCC and serves on the board of several other local charities.
Mike is the managing director of NFP Structured Settlements and NDC Advisors. In his capacity, Mike serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the day-to-day operations for both organizations.
Active in the insurance industry since the 1990s, Mike began his career at a time when structured settlements were just starting to gain traction. He led Mutual of Omaha’s entry into structured settlements in 1994, and later joined AIG, eventually rising to Vice President, Structured Settlements for AIG Institutional Markets Group. In that role, he had top- and bottom-line responsibility for structured settlements, and oversaw the management of external structured settlement distribution, internal and external clients, business development activities, strategy. He also served as the AIG internal business development contact for all AIG’s Institutional Markets Group’s products.
An industry leader, Mike served two terms on the board of directors of industry association National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA), and has served on or chaired multiple NSSTA committees, including Executive Oversight, Government Benefits, Marketing, Long Range Planning, Legislative and Regulation, Legal, and Education.
Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Nebraska. He holds a Master of Structured Settlement Consultant (MSSC) designation and a LIMRA Leadership Institute Fellow designation through LIMRA’s Executive Development and Leadership Program, with a capstone at the Executive Education Program of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
He serves as chair of North Omaha Music and Arts (NOMA). He resides with his wife, Meaghen, in Omaha, NE.
Steven is the Managing Partner of the Culver City, California office of NFP Structured Settlements. He has been involved in the structured settlement industry since 1986 and his office has participated in settlements totaling more than $1 billion in the last 5 years alone. Steven’s expertise extends to all issues affecting the settlement of workers’ compensation cases, including Medicare allocations, life care plans, medical cost trends, long term disability and social security, among others.
In addition to his business development and management responsibilities, Steven works with clients throughout the country in an effort to resolve workers’ compensation cases utilizing structured settlements. He also handles personal injury lawsuits, attorney fee structures as well as disability and contract buyouts.
Steven is a frequent speaker for many organizations, including the California Applicants’ Attorney Association (CAAA), and he conducts seminars on the use of settlement annuities in claims resolution and Medicare Set Aside accounts.
Steven is a member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association (NSSTA). He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Psychology from Redlands University.
Settlement Consultants
Susan has over 25 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industries, specializing in structured settlements. As a Settlement Consultant, Susan meets injured individuals and their families to discuss their future financial needs and goals and then helps find the best solutions to fund those goals using structured settlements, trusts and other financial products. She attends meditations, designs and presents settlement proposals. Susan assists attorneys with case evaluations for a wide array of legal settlements including, but not limited to, general liability, product liability, sexual molestation, employment litigation, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, mass tort settlements, attorney fee structures and minors’ cases. Susan also has extensive experience with Medicare Set Aside accounts for workers’ compensation, liability settlements and various trust services to meet the specific needs of the injured parties.
Susan served on the National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA) Board of Directors from 2018-2020, was the Board Liaison to its Marketing Committee, currently serves as the Co-Chair of the CSSC Committee and has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences. She earned the distinguished Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation through NSSTA in 2001 and the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business Executive Education and earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) professional designation from The American College of Financial Services in 2019.
Susan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with Honors in 1993 from Wayne State College and attended the University of Nebraska Medical School for graduate studies in Pharmacology. Susan resides in Dallas, Texas. In her spare time, Susan is an avid runner and cyclist who participates in marathons and endurance cycling events to raise money for cancer research and survivors.
Gregg joined NFP’s Culver City, California office in 2009. Before that, he spent 8 years as the Legal Counsel and Director of National Accounts for two of the largest Medicare Set Aside account vendors in the country.
His current responsibilities include designing and presenting structured settlement demands and/or offers, preparing quotes, performing file reviews and interacting with attorneys, examiners, the court and applicants. He additionally attends settlement conferences, mediations, arbitration and other proceedings designed to resolve cases. Gregg analyzes Medicare Set Aside (MSA) allocations, life care plans, non-Medicare medical expenses and vocational rehabilitation reports for valuation of future medical needs, and handles all necessary functions in finalizing settlement documents.
Gregg is a frequent speaker at local and national seminars on the use of settlement annuities in claims resolution and Medicare Set Aside accounts.
Gregg earned a Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School and is a member of the State Bar of California. He graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
Currently based in Cleveland, Ohio, Kristen began her insurance career in 1996 as a Claims Examiner for Westfield Insurance and became a full-time Annuity Broker in 2003. She is experienced as a Structured Settlement Consultant and has settled a wide variety of case types, including truck and auto liability, products liability, general liability, employment liability, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, mass tort settlements, attorney fee structures and structured sales. She also specializes in handling Medicare Set Aside accounts for workers’ compensation and liability settlements. Kristen has personally participated in negotiations across the country, developing settlement plans for all levels of injuries. She is available to assist clients with claims staff training, attendance at settlement meetings, annuity proposals, file consultations and life care plan analysis.
She is an active member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association (NSSTA) and earned the Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation from the University of Notre Dame in 2005. She is additionally a licensed Life and Health agent.
Kristen graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and French.
Kristen resides in Moreland Hills, Ohio with her husband and three children.
Based in San Diego, Will Erlanger joined NFP Structured Settlements in February of 2022. Will graduated with honors from The Ohio State University, earning a bachelor of science in business administration, while dual majoring in Finance and Real Estate. Prior to joining NFP Structured Settlements, Will worked in high-net-worth wealth management where he gained a strong understanding of investments and estate planning. While he was in school, Will had several internships including at NFP Structured Settlements. At NFP Structured Settlements, Will is responsible for generating quotes for brokers and leveraging the life insurance markets to get the best possible rates for our clients.
Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Settlement Consultant, Molly McCabe, joined NFP Structured Settlements in August of 2024. Molly graduated with honors in May of 2024 from the State University of New York at Cortland, earning a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management and a minor in communications. During her summers between college, she worked as an administrative assistant for a worker’s compensation independent medical exam company in her hometown of Webster, New York. She was responsible for scheduling IME exams accordingly throughout all of New York State as well as communicating with insurance adjusters to ensure all reports were mailed out to the correct parties in a timely manner. At NFP Structured Settlements, Molly is responsible for assisting with the distribution of policies and generating quotes for brokers. She also supports the review processes for both, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency throughout.
Paula Rubinstein is NFP Structured Settlements’ Florida Office Manager, located in Boca Raton, and is a licensed Structured Settlement Consultant with over 30 years of experience serving attorneys and injured people.
Paula’s responsibilities include facilitating meditations, designing and presenting settlement proposals, interfacing with parties, assisting with case evaluations, and participating in structured settlements seminars, attorney conventions, and related topics. Paula’s expertise as a structured settlement consultant includes settlements of a wide variety of case types involving general liability, product liability, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, mass tort settlements, attorney fee structures and minors’ cases, as well as handling Medicare Set Aside accounts for workers’ compensation, liability settlements and various trust services to meet the specific needs of the injured party.
Paula is an active member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association (NSSTA). She earned the distinguished Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation through NSSTA in 2022 and the University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business. She helped establish the NSSTA Women’s Caucus and successfully served as Co-Chair of the Caucus for three years. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for NSSTA, an industry organization with over 700 members.
Paula received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work in 2002. She has a genuine passion for her work and finds great satisfaction and comfort in knowing that she plays an important role in providing a financially secure future and peace of mind for her clients.
Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Leigh Ann is a Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) with over 23 years of experience in the industry. She began her career as an Administrative Assistant and progressively made her way through the ranks at NFP to Structured Settlement Consultant and is currently Manager. Her current responsibilities include managing information technology, marketing projects, managing vendors, training new employees, improving processes and overseeing operations in the Pittsburgh office. Her extensive knowledge of NFP Structured Settlements’ processes and operations makes her an integral part of the management team.
Her expertise as a Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) involves assisting clients with the settlement of personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, workers’ compensation and attorney fee structures. She also handles Medicare Set Aside account annuities. Leigh Ann prepares life care plan analyzes and plan designs that fit the individual needs of the injured party and in many instances are used as the focal point in the successful negotiation of cases. She has helped create and perfect NFP Structured Settlement’s pricing strategy. Her meticulous work on each case benefits the claimant by providing the best financial plan. Leigh Ann’s drive and compassion to do what is best for the injured victim and their families helps them make the most informed decision they may face at this difficult time.
Leigh Ann graduated from Duquesne University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Supply Chain Management. She earned her Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation from the National Structured Settlement Trade Association (NSSTA) and the University of Notre Dame in 2013.
Located in Tampa, Florida, Ray U. Stoll, CPCU, CSSC, joined NFP in October 2010, and was most recently Managing Partner for Ringler Associates' Tampa office. Until November 2006, he was a shareholder and Vice president for SFA, as well as CEO of Settlement Source, Inc., a private consulting firm operating in Tampa and Washington, DC. Prior to entering the structured settlements industry, he held positions of Regional Claim Manager for The Hartford and Vice President of Claims for Progressive during his 15 years as a casualty claims professional. In 1982, Ray was appointed as a charter panel member of the initial Claim Section Board of the Society of CPCU and served six years in that capacity. He has authored numerous articles and has co-authored two books on structured settlement-related issues, ranging from special needs trusts to life insurance solvency issues.
Ray entered the structured settlement arena on an exclusive basis in 1983, and has been an internationally featured speaker, having served as a speaker for RIMS, CPCU, PIAA and ATLA at their respective national conventions. He is also an active member of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association.
Ray earned the ARM and CPCU designations in 1980 and 1981, respectively, and the Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation in 1997 from the University of Notre Dame. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from University of North Texas in 1968 before attending the University of Baltimore School of Law from 1968-1971.
Ray and his wife Sharon live in South Tampa. They have one son named Eric.
Stefanie joined the Culver City, California office in 2002. She has over 15 years of structured settlement experience and has an additional 7 years of workers’ compensation claims experience. Her responsibilities include designing and presenting structured settlement demands and/or offers, performing file reviews and interacting with attorneys, examiners, the court and injured workers.
Additionally, she attends settlement conferences, mediations, arbitration and other proceedings designed to resolve cases. Stefanie analyzes Medicare Set Aside allocations, life care plans, non-Medicare medical expenses and vocational rehabilitation reports for valuation of future medical needs. She also handles all necessary functions in finalizing settlement documents. Case Administrators
Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Nick has been involved in the structured settlement industry since 2011. His responsibilities include assisting property and casualty insurance companies, self-insured corporations, government agencies, and plaintiffs’ attorneys in the finalization of structured settlement annuities. He has additional legal and administrative experience in the areas of workers’ compensation, personal injury, Medicare Set Aside account preparation and submission, medical malpractice and social security disability benefits.
He earned his Master's Degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 2005 and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University in 2003.
Located in Charleston, South Carolina, John Roudebush has been in the insurance industry since 1987 and has specialized in structured settlements since 1990. His insurance background consists of directly handling complex litigated claims in personal and commercial lines. He has extensive structured settlement experience working for both an in-house insurance operation as well as outside independent brokerage firms.
John provides assistance to major casualty carriers, self-insured companies and attorneys in a variety of claims, such as automobile liability, general liability, medical malpractice and workers’ compensation, including Medicare Set Aside accounts. He handles all aspects of the structured settlement process, from the tailoring of a customized financial plan to finalizing settlement documents.
John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach. He earned the Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation from the University of Notre Dame in 1997 and holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations from The American College.
Reese joins NFP Structured Settlements with 22 years of experience in the industry. She has a diverse field of knowledge, starting her career as a workers’ compensation adjuster. During that time, she gained an appreciation for structured settlements and understands the nuances of working closely with property and casualty companies, their employees and claimants experiencing workplace injuries. After moving into the structured settlement space, Reese spent most of her career working at the corporate office of a structured settlement firm where she became proficient in the operational side of the business. Rounding out her years in the industry, she most recently worked at a trust company, handled trust operations and helped launch a market-based structured settlement product. At NFP Structured Settlements, Reese uses her expertise to work side-by-side with all parties, to help conclude the structured settlement process and documents.
Reese earned her Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation at the University of Texas, McCombs School of Business, Austin, Texas in 2022. Reese resides in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Based out of Austin, Texas, Emily joins NFP Structured Settlements with 6 years of experience in the structured settlement industry. She started her work as an Administrative Assistant where she gained her knowledge and appreciation for structured settlements. Shortly after, she began working as a junior case manager managing workers’ compensation accounts. She now works closely with casualty companies and plaintiffs’ attorneys to prepare and finalize structured settlement documents.
Emily earned her degree in Human Resource Management degree at Concordia University Austin, Texas.
Sylvia became a part of NFP in February 2009 as a member of the Cleveland, Ohio office. She previously worked with both plaintiffs and defense firms, and is experienced in working closely with claimants, counsel and insurers. As a paralegal with NFP, Sylvia works closely with all cases in the Ohio and Florida regions and is well-versed in the legal intricacies of both states. She graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Meagan McGowan is a Case Administrator based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with over 14 years of professional experience in legal, financial, and administrative roles. Her background spans both private‑ and public‑sector environments, providing her with a strong foundation in case coordination, documentation management, and compliance‑driven processes.
Meagan spent nine years as a Legal Assistant, supporting legal teams in the areas of civil litigation and worker’s compensation by managing case documentation, coordinating deadlines, and maintaining accuracy in fast‑paced, detail‑oriented settings. She later served for five years as a Financial Accounting Representative, where she worked extensively with financial data, ensured regulatory compliance, and supported mission‑critical administrative processes serving veterans and their families.
She earned her Paralegal degree in 2014 and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Capella University in 2019. In her current role, Meagan is recognized for her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaborative approach. At NFP Structured Settlements, Meagan is committed to delivering high‑quality administrative support and contributing to efficient, accountable operations throughout the structured settlement process.
Administrative Staff
Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Policy Administrator, Teresa LaRoche, joined NFP Structured Settlements in May 2001. Teresa is responsible for reviewing policies and ensuring that all final documents are accurate and fully executed. She then prepares document packages including policies and all final documents before sending them to all parties involved in each case. Additionally, she prepares applications for clients’ structures, reviews quotes for consultants, and ensures all administrative tasks are done correctly and efficiently.
Kalitha joins NFP Structured Settlements with 21 years of experience in the Administrative/Corporate office profession. She has a diverse field of knowledge, starting her career as a Document Service Representative in Dallas, TX and has handled various roles and responsibilities working at corporate law firms throughout the Dallas metroplex. During that time, she gained an appreciation for working closely with corporate professionals in the legal industry, handling highly sensitive and confidential legal documentation, which included filing & records management as well as acting as lead in the department of records management. She also has experience in loan operations where she worked at BYN Mellon in Pittsburgh as a loan processor in a high-volume, time-sensitive, multi-tasking environment.
Since joining NFP Structured Settlements as an Administrative Assistant, she has become proficient in the operational role and handling of responsibilities and tasks that it demands. Kalitha uses her skills and expertise in clerical, reception, documentation organization, and customer service to work side-by-side with all parties and to help conclude the structured settlement process, organization of policies, and client documentation.
Kalitha is certified in records management, client services & legal documentation and has over 20 years of experience. Kalitha graduated from The Boyd School of Business in Travel in Pittsburgh, PA.
Based in Houston, Texas, Structured Settlement Consultant Bryan Longoria joined NFP Structured Settlements in August 2025. Bryan graduated with honors in June 2021 from the University of Houston’s C.T. Bauer College of Business, earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Prior to joining NFP, Bryan spent eight years as part of Brené Brown Education and Research Group, where he held diverse roles including traditional media and event manager and executive assistant. His experience in media and event management equipped him with strong organizational and communication skills that he now applies to his work in structured settlements. At NFP Structured Settlements, Bryan is responsible for generating quotes for brokers and leveraging life insurance markets to secure the most competitive rates for clients.
Sarene, a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, recently joined us as an Executive Administrative Assistant. Most recently, Sarene worked as an Administrative Assistant in risk management, where she managed confidential documents, coordinated meetings, and supported caseworkers with sensitive information. Before joining NFP has 15 years of combined experience in administrative support, onboarding and training, and management for tech and e-commerce companies.
